MyMOCA is a utility application that offers a range of features without any associated fees, commissions, or charges for the sale of artworks. This platform allows users to upload art with the sole intention of promotion and protection, ensuring that operators’ data remains confidential and is not utilized for any other purposes.

The app includes a blockchain transfer feature that facilitates the sale, trade, gifting, or loaning of artworks. This function enables operators to negotiate terms and trace each piece's provenance and ownership history. Operators have the ability to detail and customize the terms or commissions associated with each transfer individually.

Payments for artworks or services occur directly between operators using their preferred payment methods, as MyMOCA does not process transactions. It is important for artists to insure their own artwork independently.

Additionally, artworks can be utilized as a form of currency by transferring the corresponding credential. Upon acceptance of a credential transfer, owner data becomes locked, with only the current holder able to contribute to its history. While operators can narrate the story during a transfer, they cannot alter the original credential.

Once an artwork is uploaded, it becomes identifiable through the SCAN feature. Operators will have access to information regarding previous uploads or scans, including dates and the contexts in which their art has been featured—such as private collections, institutional installations, or virtual and physical galleries.

Users can host, post, share, submit, and map their artwork for global visibility. With the artist's consent, submissions can also be made for inclusion in movies or television shows.

MyMOCA accommodates both "Institution" accounts for exhibition submissions and "Individual" accounts for shows, with each requiring a separate email address. Notifications are optional; however, it is recommended to use the unobtrusive badge icon on the MyMOCA interface for updates.

The “Controls” page provides operators with access to all features available in the app. The “Homepage” operates similarly to a traditional social media feed, offering opportunities to like, vote on, and comment (publicly or privately) about various artworks.
